This idea is solely base on the hotel in east asia as their interior design and the standard of construction like facility and hardware are much much much more better than their counterparts in northern America and Europe. For instance， if you check the same brand like Ritz Carlton New York and Ritz Carlton Nanjing，you will find there is a huge gap between them especially when it comes to interior design， the size of the room as well as the different level of brand of hardware they are using.

I would have guessed that they would be high on the list. How did you rate them?

Without knowing it, I imagine that the order in which the different resorts appear in the survey, has to do with the price. Eg the 3 Soneva resorts are nor the cheapest. What´s your comment on that?

I will say at this moment Four Seasons and Taj Hotels/Sri Lanka rocks when it comes to service for me. Haven’t had the chance to check out Six Senses, Aman or Soneva.
